Will Matthew McConaughey’s sudden transformation from mediocre romcom guy to the Laurence Olivier of our time be affirmed by the Academy?  Did anyone really get what happened at the end of American Hustle? Is that a dress or a sequined shower pouf? We’ll find out the answers to all these questions, plus get treated to that awesome annual speech about Ernst & Young’s ballot tabulations, when the 86th Academy Awards ceremony airs this Sunday night. Don’t miss one minute of the action—and treat yourself to shareable seasonal small plates and a specialty cocktail or two—at Brooklyn Winery’s 2014 Oscars Screening Party. The red carpet arrivals start at 7pm, and the program begins at 8:30, but you’ll want to get there early because there’s no cover and seats are first come, first served.

People didn’t understand the ending of American Hustle? It was about as complicated as the ending of Avatar.
