There’s a bit of an Aussie tinge to our Tip Sheet this week (Aesop, the Australian skin care company is in residence at Invisible Dog gallery), and the wildly popular Women of Letters literary salon is back in BK from down under this Tuesday night at The Bell House. If you lament the lost art of letter writing as much as we do, be in Gowanus by 8pm to hear the likes of Martha Wainwright, Edie Falco, JD Samson, Ophira Eisenberg, Dawn O’Porter, Yael Stone and Amelia Lester read from works they’re written on the theme–A letter to the night I’d rather forget–which they’ll share on stage with the salon’s co-founders, Marieke Hardy and Michaela McGuire.
