Fred Seibert is the brain behind some of the coolest cartoons to ever hit our television screens. As president of Hanna-Barbera, he helped to create The Powerpuff Girls, Dexter’s Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Cow & Chicken, I.M. Weasel, Courage The Cowardly Dog, and What A Cartoon! He’s made cartoons for Nickelodeon and was MTV’s first creative director. He established Frederator Studios in 1998, which now programs the networks Channel Frederator and Cartoon Hangover. This Thursday Animation Block Party brings Seibert to BAM for a screening and Q&A. Get an inside look at the life of one of the most prolific animators of our time, and see some of his work on the big screen. Tickets are $13.
