In our guide to outdoor drinks we mentioned that the back patio at Roebling Tea Room was undergoing a serious renovation. Well, they’re finished, the patio is open and it’s bigger and more lovely than ever. To celebrate the revamped outdoor space, and the addition of some new Hungarian wines to their always excellent wine list, the Tea Room gang is throwing a party this Thursday. Email to RSVP, and tickets will also be available at the door. For $30 you get a taste of four wines, hors d’oeuvres and a glass of whichever wine you select; $45 gets you all that and three glasses of wine; and for $60 (the libertine package) you get as much wine as you want, you can dance on the table and they promise no judgement. Time to practice your Hungarian starting with egészségedre!, which means “cheers.”
