Scenes from Wedding Crashers at the Wythe Hotel

By

This was the second year we hosted a fall wedding fair, and the first time we brought Wedding Crashers out of Gowanus and into Williamsburg, to the gorgeous Wythe Hotel last Thursday. Its various spaces, from the outdoor garden area to the Main Hall to the speakeasy bar downstairs, where Brooklyn Brewery poured glasses of Local 1, were a ton of fun to play with. Having Tribute String Quartet play in the Private Dining Room, and Baby Soda Jazz Band in the speakeasy was an extra treat. And of course the food, from ReynardBetty BrooklynDelaney BarbecueLuke’s Lobster and Naturally Delicious, was amazing. You can check out all our vendors links here.

We had a lot of help giving the venue the Wedding Crashers makeover. Patina Rentals used their amazing Color Conditions, shimmery streamers that cascaded down from the ceilings and the outside gates. Universal Light and Sound strung lights in the tent and main hall. Sprout Home provided striking centerpieces like their sculptural, air plant “candelabras” atop the hotel’s bar. Lilli of Mimosa Floral Design Studio did our chalkboard art, and the following people and vendors provided great wedding planning tips in the screening room downstairs: Mark O’Connell, Rose Red & LavenderNaturally DeliciousLion in the Sun / PostScript Brooklynkerry Quade.5 West StudiosAmber Gress PhotographyPhotomuseReadyluckStylish & Hip Weddings, followed by a fashion show by Rebecca Schoneveld Bridal Design featuring Brooklyn brides who wore the dresses she designed for them, with hair and makeup by Glamsquad.
