For BRIC’s final Stoop Series event of the fall 2014 season  — this Tuesday, 12/16, at 7 pm — underground performance group LoftOpera will take over the stoop, presenting a semi-staged, work-in-progress performance of select arias and duets from Vincenzo Bellini’s Romeo and Juliet. Following the performance, members of the cast and creative team will discuss themes related to the opera, as well as how setting and staging can influence the interpretation and understanding of a dramatic work.
