Saturday, Dec. 20: Baseball season may be over, but that doesn’t mean the fun times have stopped at Citi Field. This Saturday, the arena will host the 4th Annual Ugly Sweater Run, a 5K race designed for those who don’t mind the cold or spectacularly tacky outerwear. Starting at 11am, runners are invited to don their ugliest sweaters, warm up at a starting line featuring huge inflatables, photo booths and holiday music, and then run the 3.1-mile race, stopping at every mile marker for a free hot cocoa break. At the end of the race, there will be a free beer for all 21-and-ups and plenty of activities, including prizes for best sweater, worst sweater and best mustache (real or fake). Individual registration is $55 in advance or $60 at the race while registration for groups of four or more people will set you back $50 per person or $55 at the race. Kids under five run for free.
