Tone, an artist and musician who “stumbled” into the bar business, thought that being poor was just part of running a small business. Sarah, a florist and event designer, found that even working with flowers could be chaotic without direction, systems, and organization.

Then they each enrolled in Holly Howard’s From Artisan to Entrepreneur® Business Growth Program. This is not your typical business development course. The focus of this program is community, creativity, and confidence. It’s the opportunity to join a small group of your peers – limited to 15 students per section – to gain the tools, resources, and relationships you need to grow your business.

Small business advisor, passionate community enthusiast, and business advice columnist Holly Howard’s career was launched after a colorful past in ballet, music, and medicine. Since she launched her small business consulting company, she has worked with nearly 100 creative small businesses in New York City.

The 10-week program teaches entrepreneurs important lessons about leadership, goals, as well as formulating marketing, financial, and operational plans. Four 60-minute private consulting sessions allow Holly to offer personalized guidance for each student’s unique business challenges.

“Holly has a clear gift for immediately pinpointing simple shifts to alleviate the chaos and hangups that so many of us experience in small creative businesses,” says Sarah Ryhanen of Saipua, a floral design company. “It’s like magic. We have shifted our company culture from one of martyrdom and exhaustion to one of enthusiasm and joy.”

There are two summer sessions starting on either June 8 or 10, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Registration closes June 5. Check out her website to find out how you can connect to a supportive community and transform your passion into a profitable, inspiring, and thriving business.
