Boerum Hill — especially Atlantic Avenue — has changed drastically over the past decade. The historic brownstones and rowhouses are still there, as are the antique stores and the Middle Eastern markets, but they’ve been joined by upscale restaurants, bridal boutiques, and art galleries. The residences, ranging from one- to five-bedroom, will include terrace duplex homes and penthouses. The 1,300-square-foot rooftop garden features panoramic city views.
The developers placed the entrance on quiet Pacific Street, hence its name 465 Pacific Street. The layout of the building is actually L-shaped, stretching from Atlantic to Pacific, where the residence’s lobby will be located.
The apartments have over nine-foot ceilings as well as many features that go beyond the usual upscale appliances and marble countertops such as gas fireplaces in the penthouses and outdoor natural gas grills for the terrace residences, multi-zone heating and cooling that are individually controlled and energy-efficient, and full-sized washer and vented dryers.
The building itself has doorman, superintendent, and porter services, as well as indoor parking available for purchase. Other amenities include a common roof terrace, fitness center, children’s playroom, resident lounge, cabanas (available for purchase), bicycle storage, and a private storage unit for each residence.
Living at 465 Pacific Street will put its residents in the heart of Boerum Hill, and just blocks away from Park Slope, Fort Greene, Gowanus, and Cobble Hill. Going further afield is a snap, as the building is two blocks away from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center, the transportation hub that connects most of the Brooklyn subway lines as well as the Long Island Railroad.
