It’s been almost 20 years since a man in a bunny suit first informed a teenage Jake Gyllenhall that the world is about to end in 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, and 12 seconds–and you can relive the weird, wonderful end days of Donnie Darko at SummerScreeen in McCarren Park. The series runs every Wednesday through August 9. Gates are at 6pm, and bands will be performing before each screening at 7:15pm. Food, beer, and wine will all be for sale on site and as always, dogs are welcome.
