Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice

There are lots of cool ways to spend a Wednesday evening in the summer in New York City, but few of them are both free and as much fun as singing “Jump In the Line” along with Winona and several hundred fellow Brooklynites in McCarren Park. The popular Summerscreen outdoor movie series is showing Beetlejuice, Tim Burton’s late-80’s classic about a pinstriped ghost hired by a deceased couple to scare the new owners of their house away on Wednesday night. Grab a picnic blanket and a few friends and revisit this oldie but goodie–it’s the last screening of the summer! As always, the movie starts at sundown, it’s free to attend, and there will be live music and food and drink vendors available before showtime.
