On Wednesday, Pioneer Works is hosting critically acclaimed Swedish singer-songwriter Kristian Matsson, who performs under the stage name The Tallest Man on Earth, for a collaborative performance with yMusic, a classical sextet. The two acts recently teamed up on a new EP, which rearranged and reimagined some of The Tallest Man on Earth’s best-known work against a totally new, classical background. If you’ve never been to Pioneer Works’ beautiful Red Hook space, this is a great opportunity to take advantage of it and the lovely adjoining garden before it gets too cold. Note that this is a second night of this performance that was added once the first sold out, so you’ll want to buy a $40 ticket in advance just to be safe.
