On Wednesday evening at 6:30pm, the New Women Space will be screening The Secret Life of Muslims, a funny, informative, and acclaimed web series that is aimed at providing a counter-narrative to the insidious Islamophobia that is increasingly present in our discourse and media. The piece focuses on the accomplishments, careers, and diverse contributions of Muslim Americans and it sounds like it should be required viewing for everyone in these increasingly xenophobic times. Series co-producer Jaclyn Biskup will be present for a discussion following the show, and refreshments will be available for purchase. Tickets are $8.
