Take a cooking class at One More Bite

By

This year at our family food fest One More Bite, we are making use of the kitchen on site, and introducing two cooking classes you or your child can take.

The first is a kids cooking class with Tiny Turnips Kitchen, open to ages 7 and up. Your little chef will learn how to make two kinds of dumplings: sesame scallion beef and crispy veggie tofu accompanied by yummy dipping sauces. With any luck, they will recreate them for you at home!

The class is from 12pm to 12:45pm, and a ticket ($40) includes admission to the food festival for your entire family. We have only 8 spots available, so get one in advance!

The second class is designed for parents who would like to break out of preparing two different dinners every night–one for the kids, one for the grownups. Well Rooted Kitchen leads this meal planning workshop that will teach you how to adapt international dishes like curries to fit the various stages and dietary needs for everyone at the dinner table. You’ll sample Chef Elana’s dishes and get recipes to take home. Tickets for this demo class, which includes admission to One More Bite for the entire family, are also $40. It runs from 1:30-2:30 and space is limited so secure your spot in advance!
