On Thursday, Brooklyn’s own Grizzly Bear begins a two-night run at Brooklyn Steel, and there are still tickets left for $40, although Friday’s show sold out a while back. This particular tour is promoting the band’s acclaimed fifth album, Painted Ruins, which I can personally attest makes for some good listening. Doors open at 7:30pm and the show starts at 8:30pm, with serpentwithfeet, which somehow combines gospel and electronica into something magical.
