Bringing back the lost art of the dinner party

By

If you listen to The Dinner Party Download, you are already familiar with hosts Brendan Francis Newman and Rico Gagliano, their witty banter, their pop culture musings, and possibly their aversion to brunch as a social institution (which is something I share). If you aren’t familiar with their work, it’s high time that you got to know these two, who were named to Food & Wine’s “Forty Big Food Thinkers Forty and Under” list and have been judges on Top Chef Masters. Either way, you will likely enjoy seeing them at Books Are Magic on Thursday night when they discuss Brunch is Hell: How to Save the World by Throwing a Dinner Party,  the duo’s new book about restoring the disappearing art of entertaining at home. The conversation will be inspiring, perhaps so much so that you’ll want to throw your own dinner party in short order. Admission is free and the fun starts at 7:30pm.
