This is the time of year when it gets a little harder to maintain those lofty resolutions to work out, but an Open Run on Tuesday night should help you stay the course. Volunteers from the New York Road Runner’s club organize these free weekly runs and walks in local parks throughout NYC and every Tuesday night one takes place in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Leave your bags at home, don some reflective gear and arrive 15 minutes before start time. (Feel free to bring your walker, stroller or dog, too!) The finish line is open until the last person is done and the course is generally between 2.5 and 3 miles long. Register in advance here.
