Revisiting Susan Sontag and other writers on film

By

The Brooklyn Public Library is hosting a film festival this month about writers, the kind of event that will make lit lovers do a little cartwheel inside. LitFilm runs from February 20-25, and on Sunday you can attend a viewing of Regarding Susan Sontag, a masterful documentary on the cultural critic by director Nancy D Kates. Narrated by Patricia Clarkson, the documentary offers a fascinating look at the iconic writer and critic through the scope of friends, lovers, and archives. It’ll be the cherry on your Sunda(e)y, and an excellent way to end the weekend. The screening begins at 2pm.
