Barely three weeks ago, legendary musician Elvis Costello announced that he and his longtime band, The Imposters, will perform a three-night-run in North America before heading to the UK to kick off a European summer tour. The first stateside date is this Wednesday at Brooklyn Steel at 8pm, and there are somehow still a few $75 tickets available. Alternatively, The Bell House is hosting the 10th Anniversary edition of Slate’s Culture Gabfest, the podcast hosted by Slate critics Stephen Metcalf, Dana Stevens, and Julia Turner about the compelling books, movies, and TV of the day, at 7pm.
