The BRIC OPEN returns April 26-29 with the theme of Borders

Lots of amazing things happening during the BRIC OPEN, a free four-day festival borne out of BRIC’s core values of creativity, inclusion, and community. This year’s Festival, with the theme of Borders, reveals complex experiences of moving across geo-political and ideological borders, illuminates the way real and imagined borders intersect, and celebrates our capacity to create connections across boundaries. Join BRIC for a conversation between activists working with the Women’s March and Black Lives Matter; rock out to an eclectic triple bill show with Blitz the Ambassador, Lido Pimienta, and The Chamanas; or dance the night away with RAGGA NYC. Plus, experience unique interactive exhibitions, listen to artist talks, watch short films, and hear from disability activist Jess Thom—all for free! RSVP now and plan to spend April 26-29 at BRIC House in Downtown Brooklyn!
