Baubles, Booze, and Bites at Industry City

By

On Saturday, head to Industry City for a triple threat of activities to get you clothed, crafty, fed, and libated. First up, vintage pop-up shop A Current Affair is back all weekend with its curated group of dozens of the nation’s best sources of vintage clothing and accessories. I’ve found some amazing stuff here in years past, so it’s definitely worth a browse, even with the $15 entrance fee.

Also onsite this weekend: BUST Craftacular, an indie maker fair featuring more than 75 local vendors selling everything from jewelry to housewares to temporaru tattoos from 11-7pm. Feeling a creative streak yourself? Sign up for one of the many classes in embroidery, macrame, chocolate-making, herbalism, and more going on throughout the day.

Finally, unwind at Brooklyn Crush, a wine and artisanal food extravaganza starting at 2pm. Tickets to one of the two scheduled sessions start at $64, but you get to sample a huge selection of wine from vintners all over the world and unlimited tastings of charcuterie, pate, cheese, ethnic eats, vegan options, and dessert from participating shops and restaurants.
