Have you all been to the David Bowie exhibit at Brooklyn Museum yet? If not, get on it! It’s pretty incredible, IMHO, and you walk out the door in awe of how The Thin White Duke managed to remain original, provocative, and consummately creative for a career that spanned nearly six decades. If you go this Thursday night, May 17, you’ll get the added bonus of a special happy hour featuring a panel of expert speakers discussing topics like The Starman’s filmography, his connection with the cosmos, and his forward-looking sartorial sense. The event runs from 7-9pm, and there will be a cash bar.
Meanwhile, across town, you can catch a live performance from current day provocateurs, Pussy Riot, at Elsewhere at 8pm for $25.
