A glass museum floats into Brooklyn

By

It can be argued that a society, we’re pretty into things that float—floating restaurants, floating water parks, floating bars. And now, thanks to the Corning Museum of Glass, we’ve got ourselves a floating museum that’ll be docked in Brooklyn Bridge Park from May 17-28. There will be free, 30 minute glass blowing demonstrations atop the barge (which will be equipped with patented, all-electric glassmaking equipment) from 11am to 6pm every day, but make sure to make a reservation! Tickets are free, and more info can be found here.
