Thursday adventures in DIY

By

Between Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduations, and the fact that pretty much everyone I know was born in May, I feel like I’m always scrambling for presents this month. I was recently thinking this might be time to go old school and make something for one of these potential recipients, so this embroidery wall art class in the LES on Thursday, May 24 caught my eye. A piece of art, handmade by you, bearing a personal message or inside joke seems like a great way to remind someone how special they are. The two-hour class is beginner-friendly and provides all the materials and instruction you need to produce your own, one-of-a-kind piece, and there will be drinks available for purchase to help you get your creative juices flowing. Tickets are $45 and the crafting starts at 7pm at Make Believe on Allen St.
