On the evening of May 29 in Green-Wood Cemetery is a gathering that sounds equal parts eerie and empowering: The Secret Society of the Sisterhood. The event, imported from the West Coast by producer Trish Nelson, is a women’s storytelling night at heart, with some pagan and goddess feels sprinkled throughout. Guests including Amber Tamblyn, Lorri Davis, and Yamaneika Saunder will be telling tales on the theme of “So…That Happened” and Kaki King–one of our greatest living guitarists–will perform before DJ Tikka Masala provides the grooves for a full-moon dance party. Tickets are $25; festivities start at 7pm.
