Tuesday open runs, and more ways to make the city your summer gym

By

As part of its city-wide Open Run program, New York Road Runners organizes a weekly, Tuesday evening three-mile run starting from the south side of Fornino on Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The run begins around 6:45pm, and jogging strollers and even dogs are welcome. The free event is just one of the ways to get active outdoors, for free this summer—we’ve rounded up all the public dance, yoga and boating sessions here.
