A sustainable Sunday supper

By

If you are a super picky eater who is easily skeeved out by the concept of upcycled food and, say, ice cream made using coffee grounds, Sunday’s Zero Waste Dinner hosted by AgTechX Co-Lab, a co-working space dedicated to sustainable food, might not be the event for you. Any true culinary adventurers out there, however, can try some pretty intriguing-sounding dishes, while at the same time learning how to reduce waste in everyday food prep. Chefs Denzell Washington and Anna Fitting developed the five-course tasting menu using things like bruised avocados, brown bananas, and chicken feet that had been discarded by local farms and restaurants, and you are encouraged to BYOB. Dinner starts at 6pm and tickets are $65.
