Saturday Slope soiree

By

It seems a little crazy that in all the years that we’ve been throwing BB Immersions, we’ve never done one in Park Slope of all places, but yet here we are. All that changes this Saturday, however, when we are partnering up with tons of local businesses and bars like The Gate, High Dive, Union Hall, and McMahon’s Public House to bring you a day full of drinking, shopping, eating, exploring, and making new friends in the quintessential brownstone Brooklyn hood. Pick up your packet of WAM (Walking Around Money) for $15 here, and you’ll get four free Brooklyn Brewery beers and tons of deals from neighboring shops starting at noon, and if you add $10 we’ll throw in lunch too. Afterward, head to the Bandshell at Prospect Park for a free performance by guitarist extraordinaire Kaki King followed by a screening of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, or walk a few blocks north to the South Slope Summer Stroll from 5-9pm, which includes a 6:30pm performance of A Winter’s Tale by South Brooklyn Shakespeare with an outdoor beer garden. Sounds like a perfect summer Saturday to me!
