The three-day long Panorama music fest descends upon Randall’s Island this weekend, and though day passes aren’t cheap at $100 a pop, it’s not such a bad deal when you consider the caliber of the lineup this year. On Friday alone, for example, you can see The Weekend, Migos, War on Drugs, Father John Misty, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and at least ten more acts. If you’d rather keep travel and spend to a minimum, stick around closer to home and check out a special midnight screening of The Harder They Come at Nitehawk. The 1977 Jimmy Cliff vehicle is attached to one of the my all time favorite soundtracks, yet I’m embarrassed to admit that I’ve never actually seen the movie, which tells the story of Ivanhoe Martin, a Jamaican reggae singer who turns to a life of crime. Tickets are $12.
