Score a lobster dinner for a steal during lobster week

By

Forget sweet summertime, it’s sweet lobster time. Red Hook Lobster Pound is hosting its second-annual Lobster Week to celebrate new shell lobster season, the time when crustaceans living in colder climes ditch their shells and grow new ones. The result is sweet, super tender meat, which the Brooklyn seafood spot will be serving up fresh from National Lobster Day on Monday, Sept. 24 to Sunday, Sept. 30 for just $25. The deal includes straight-from-Maine lobster and all the fixins — read: red potatoes, corn and plenty of butter — plus a beer or wine pairing, so reserve a spot and pat yourself on the back for making such thrifty choices.
