Devour $1 slices for a cause at Slice Out Hunger’s pizza party

By

This week, my typical post $1 slice regret is taking a night off. On Wednesday, Oct. 10, Slice Out Hunger is bringing together dozens of New York City pizza stalwarts to sling their wares on the cheap for a worthy cause — local hunger-relief organizations City Harvest and The Sylvia Center. The likes of Artichoke, Rubirosa, Emily and Lombardi’s will join more than 50 other pizzerias at the St. Anthony of Padua Church in SoHo to dish up slices, sodas and desserts for just a buck a piece. Bring exact change and don’t be late — the Dollar Pizza Party starts at 6 pm and ends when the pizza’s gone.
