Barbara Kingsolver reading and discussion

By

On Monday, Oct. 15 at 7:30pm, you have the rare opportunity to see iconic novelist Barbara Kingsolver appear live at St. Joseph’s College to discuss Unsheltered, her eighth novel and her first in six years, with Brooklyn-based author Julie Orringer. The latest from Kingsolver, a Pulitzer Prize finalist whose books are frequently on the NYT bestsellers list, explores two stories that take place in the same New Jersey town nearly 150 years apart. Tickets are $33 each, which includes the event and a hardcover copy of Unsheltered that you can get signed at the end of the presentation. While you’re at it, grab a ticket to see Anne Lamott discuss her newest title, Almost Everything: Notes on Hope, at the same venue the following Monday night as well.
