By

There’s lots going on this Saturday, starting with the fall edition of the Brooklyn Crush Wine & Artisanal Food Festival at Industry City, which takes place over two three-hour sessions starting at either 2pm or 7pm. Expect a bonanza of Brooklyn-based food purveyors handing out snacks to enjoy alongside samples from winemakers located all over the globe; tickets start at $50.

If beer in more your thing, The Well in Bushwick is celebrating its fourth anniversary with an all-day party and an extensive tap list starting at noon. Or, you could celebrate black female readers and writers at the second annual Well-Read Black Girl Festival at Pioneer Works, presented in partnership with Greenlight Bookstore. The special guest list includes literary luminaries like Jacqueline Woodson, Blair Imani, Veronica Chambers, Mahogany Browne, and more, and tickets start at $45.
