See Ty Segall at Warsaw and get your stars read at the Smorgasburg x VICE Night Market

It’s been a long time since I’ve spent a Friday night out seeing live music, and a solo acoustic show by Ty Segall, who I’ve come to know and like through his frequent appearances on my Discovery playlists on Spotify, sounds like it might be just my speed this week. He’ll be at Warsaw at 8pm and tickets are $26. On my way home, I’d love to stop by the Smorgasburg x VICE Night Market at Villain, a new Friday night event featuring curated food and drink vendors and an ever-changing list of music and entertainment programming now in its second week. Friday’s lineup includes music from House of Yes’ Mira Farenheit and Nowadays’ Susan Z. Anthony, plus live astrology readings from Broadly. Admission is free, but there are various ticket packages available here, and this seems like a good time to remind everyone to soak up as much of Williamsburg as you can before the L train shutdown starts in April 2019. If you’re looking for more ideas of things to do in the area, check out our own Meredith Craig de Pietro’s 10 Hours in Williamsburg post from a few months back.
