The Nutcracker is a classic part of the holiday season, but only one version features rap legend Kurtis Blow as special guest MC: The Hip Hop Nutcracker, coming to Kings Theatre on December 23. This modern remix of the timeless fairy tale resets Tchaikovsky’s classic score to explosive hip-hop choreography. Featuring a dozen all-star dancers, a DJ, a violinist, and amazing digital scenery, the holiday show “turns The Nutcracker on its head, in the coolest possible way,” says CBS.
