If you’re already starting to stress about holiday shopping and the state of your Gmail “Promotions” inbox in the weeks between now and Christmas, the American Field pop-up market at Industry City this weekend might be a good way to get some people on your list taken care of early (before Thanksgiving would be a personal record for me). I’ve been to this event, which features a well-curated group of vendors of high-quality, American-made goods, in years past and have always managed to walk away with something cool and different to give to a friend or family member (or sometimes myself), and it’s a nice way to shop small and support independent craftspeople. The market will be open from 11am-6pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
