Seaport District hosts Hanukkah happening on Tuesday

By

Celebrate the Festival of Lights with a view at the Seaport District’s Hanukkah Party on Tuesday. From 6 to 8 pm, the cobblestone-covered streets will come alive with arts and crafts, guest speakers and live music, including a traditional klezmer performance from Grammy nominated clarinetist David Krakauer. The author and illustrator behind the amusingly titled “Schmuck the Buck” — which tells the tale of the North Pole’s Jewish reindeer — will also be on hand offering free signed drawings. And don’t worry, there will be enough food to make bubbe kvell. Stuff your face with latkes and jelly donuts before making your way to the Cynthia Rowley shop for champagne and chocolate gelt to top it all off. It’ll be worth the schlep, I promise.
