The Second Annual Anti-SantaCon Gowanus Pub Crawl starts at Parklife on Saturday

By

Saturday is that day that I’m convinced every true New Yorker loathes deep within (unless of course you enjoy kicking it with drunk, screeching people who are likely to puke on you at any given second), the day that you avoid Manhattan like you’re planning to avoid political discussions with your Trumper in-laws this holiday season—that’s right everyone, Santacon is back, rendering Midtown East and the East Village off limits from 10am-on. Instead, why not do a pub crawl that is actually fun, with people who are exponentially less annoying, in bars that you hang out in anyway. From 3:30-9:30pm, a host of Gowanus watering holes are joining forces again to bring you the Second Annual Anti-SantaCon Gowanus Pub Crawl. The revelry kicks off at Parklife, which just so happens to be throwing a holiday market at the same time, and then moves on the hour to other nearby bars like Royal Palms and Canal Bar. Plus you’ll be benefiting some great causes, as a portion of the proceeds from drinks specials will go to the International Rescue Committee and Everytown for Gun Safety.
