Still tickets left for the star-studded revival of ‘True West’

By

Pairing Paul Dano and Ethan Hawke in a play by Sam Shepard, one of the best playwrights of the century, seems like a recipe for an incredibly expensive theater ticket, right? In truth, the starting price to see this play about two estranged brothers who meet for the first time in five years at their mom’s California house is surprisingly reasonable for Broadway ($59, for the March performances). And the fact that there are tickets left for this limited run is a minor miracle. It opens January 24, but get tickets now. And then see what else you can check off our January culture calendar.
