Sunday in Brooklyn: Are you ready for some football, or just nachos?

By

It’s Super Bowl Sunday time, which means that you’ve got a great excuse to get together with friends and eat your weight in nachos even if you couldn’t care less whether the Patriots or the Rams end up winning the thing. Anyhoo, whether you’re tuning in for the game itself, the commercials, or the halftime show (Maroon 5, huh? Hmm, never mind. . . ), you’ve got myriad places to watch all over the borough. Humboldt & Jackson has all-you-can-eat wings at its viewing party; Parklife will have beer specials and a themed cocktail on offer; you can enjoy $6 bloody Marys (not to mention cider) all day at Brooklyn Cider House; DeKalb Market Hall has an all-you-can-eat buffet showcasing its diverse array of food vendors, and House of Yes is throwing its annual Superb Owl extravaganza, with entertainment that is guaranteed to give whatever is happening on the screen a run for its money. This is not an exhaustive list, mind you, but no matter where you end up watching, may the best team not involving Tom Brady win!
