As a Brooklynite living nowhere near the G, it takes a lot to convince me to go to Queens, let alone on a weeknight. But the American Kennel Club has done it with the Pups & Pints night they’re hosting on Thursday. From 6 to 9 pm, LIC Bar is going to the dogs, with plenty of good boys and girls stopping by to snag some pats. Your $25 ticket fetches one Sam Adams beer and all of the puppy playtime you can handle, and, as if that wasn’t enough, you’re not only treating yourself by attending. The event proceeds go to the AKC Humane Fund, which supports pet-related causes all over the country. Sounds like a ruff night, huh?
