While you don’t need a reason to treat yourself to a great meal, Citymeals on Wheels is giving you one with its Don’t… Eat… ‘Til Brooklyn event on Thursday. Join the organization’s young professionals group at 7pm at the Dumbo Loft for a night of food and drink that’ll help fund its mission of feeding elderly, homebound New Yorkers — more than 18,000 a year, in fact. Of course, on top of doing good, your $85 ticket will also taste good. Brooklyn staples Morgan’s BBQ and Pig Beach are dishing up barbecue faves, chocolatier Jacques Torres and fried dough heroes Doughnut Plant have dessert handled, and there’ll be plenty of snacks and cocktails to round it all out.
