Sunday in Brooklyn: a Bloody Mary brunch and a comedy show

By

There’s no better way to kick off a Sunday Funday than with a perfectly proportioned Bloody Mary in hand, and this weekend you can push that philosophy to its outermost limit at The Bloody Mary Festival at Grand Prospect Hall. The early sessions are already sold out, but those of you who sleep in on Sundays can still snag $50 GA tickets and $65 VIP tickets for the afternoon sessions, which start at 3:45pm and 3pm respectively. Bars from all over town will gather to mix up creative and delicious tomato juice and vodka combos for you to sample, and there will also be bagels galore and lots of other food and live music.

Once you’re good and liquored up, cap off the night at Littlefield, where comic legend Janeane Garofalo is hosting a stand-up show with guests like Phoebe Robinson, Todd Barry, and Josh Gondelman at 7pm. Tickets are just $8 if you buy them online.
