Now that we’ve tucked away our puffers, it’s officially the greatest time of the year — ice cream eating season. I’m not actually a big dessert person (forgive me), but there’s just something magical about wandering around the city, cone in hand. Luckily, on Wednesday at 6:30 pm, Williams Sonoma in Columbus Circle is making my ice cream dreams come true with a pop-up featuring West Coast favorites Salt & Straw. Despite being all over Instagram, the Portland-based ice creamery hasn’t caved on opening an East Coast location yet, so this is your chance to see how the goods are made (and try some yourself). Free tickets for the demonstration and tasting are sold out, but you can still secure a $25 spot, which includes a signed copy of their new ice cream cookbook. Sweet deal, if you ask me.
