A very veggie-forward dinner

By

Start your weekend off on a healthy note by enjoying a four-course vegetarian dinner at Archestratus Books + Foods brought to you by chef Abra Berens, whose cookbook Ruffage, is dedicated to practical, inspiring vegetable recipes. If beet arancini, shaved spring vegetable salad, and crispy polenta with braised eggplant, poached egg, and deep fried kale isn’t enough to tempt your tastebuds, the dessert course of mini shamrock shakes should seal the deal. Tickets are $50 apiece, which doesn’t include the beer and wine (or copies of the cookbook) that will be available for sale.

If you’re not ready to call it a night after that, the nearby Williamsburg outpost of Nitehawk Cinema has a midnight screening of American Psycho, which never gets old in my book.
