The Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving exhibition at The Brooklyn Museum comes down on Sunday, but it’s not fading quietly into the night. The museum is celebrating Kahlo’s one-of-a-kind perspective and legacy with a farewell dance party on Friday from 8-11pm. There will be live music from Radio Jarocho, art workshops with Colectva Cosmica, a tribute to Chavela Vargas performed by Claudia Valentina, a makeup station, and DJ sets. Tickets are $25 for non-members.
