‘Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am’ opens at BAM

By

A new documentary chronicling the extraordinary life of one of the most influential contemporary American novelists, Toni Morrison, opens on Friday, and it sounds like a fascinating examination of the brilliant literary mind that brought to life Song of Solomon, Beloved, and The Bluest Eye, among other titles. Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am will debut at BAM with a 7pm screening and Q&A with the filmmaker, Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, and Glory Edim, the founder of Well-Read Black Girl. Tickets are $15.
