First Saturday at Brooklyn Museum

By

It’s the first weekend in July, which means that Brooklyn Museum’s First Saturdays, a free and eclectic program of art, film, panels, and entertainment is back from 5-11pm. This month’s edition is focused on Visualizing Independence, and highlights include a curator tour of the Gary Winograd photography exhibition, gallery talks given by the museum’s teen apprentices about the 40th anniversary of The Dinner Party and Judy Chicago’s 80th birthday, and live music by the Cumbia River Band.
