Meat lovers from all walks of life will descend upon the Red Hook waterfront this Saturday for the 10th annual Pig Island NYC, a daylong festival dedicated to eating pork prepared by 20 of the country’s most talented pitmasters and chefs. In addition to all the larb, chorizo, pulled pork, bacon, and porchetta available for your enjoyment, there will also be jerk chicken and a variety of sides to round out your plate, as well as Sixpoint beer, locally produced cider and spirits, and something called a “Mezcal zone.” All-inclusive tickets are $75 each, and the feeding frenzy begins at 11:30am.
