It’s tough to wallow in the Sunday Scaries when you’re busy indulging in the best food and drink that North Brooklyn has to offer at a giant waterfront block party, so you should think about attending TASTE Williamsburg Greenpoint in the East River State Park. Now in its 10th year, the food fest features bites and bevs from over 40 of the area’s most beloved restaurants, bars, breweries, and wineries, like Calexico, Freehold, Du’s Donuts, Coolhaus, Le Gamin, Maison Premiere, The Meatball Shop, Pies ‘N’ Thighs, Brooklyn Brewery, and more. There will also be live music, games, an archery booth, and more. The best part is that the proceeds go to The Firehouse North Brooklyn Community Center, a long-awaited three-story facility that will provide a permanent home for arts, activism, and community in the neighborhood. Tickets start at $60, and the party runs from 1-4pm.
